Windsor takes three of four to open season
The Jaguars are off to a strong start on the preseason volleyball circuit, logging three wins in the first four outings.

After starting the season with a tough five-set loss to Petaluma on Aug. 21, the Jags have reeled off consecutive wins over Piner (3-0), El Cerrito (3-2) and most recently Healdsburg (3-0).
Windsor has been placed in the ultra competitive Oak Division in the newly configured North Bay League, along with other top teams Maria Carrillo, Analy, Montgomery, Cardinal Newman and Santa Rosa. The Jaguars will open league play against the visiting Santa Rosa Panthers on Sept. 18.
Under veteran head coach Rich Schwarz, the Jags return an experienced core of ten players to the varsity fold, including many of the top athletes in the league.
The list of returnees includes seniors: middle hitter Brittany Johnson, outside hitter/RS Elena Dyer, defensive specialist Nikki Howard, defensive specialist Rene Tolson and outside hitter Destiny Clark. Returning juniors are RS Madison Omiotek, outside hitter/RS Madison Weber, defensive specialist/RS Katie Todd, defensive specialist/RS Isabella Earl and middle hitter Brooke Rooney.  
First year varsity players are juniors; defensive specialist Mara St. Amant, defensive specialist Faith St. Amant, outside hitter Gigi Raygoza, opposite hitter Pauline Woodward and sophomore setter Hannah Dyer.
Scheduling notes 
Windsor will be back on the court on Sept. 4 (after press time) against visiting Rancho Cotate, followed by a Sept. 11 home clash with Casa Grande.  Match times beginning with the frosh are 4/5/6:30 p.m.
