Contact hitter – Kayla Scott swung at a pitch in a 10-0 rout over visiting Ukiah on April 25.

The Lady Jaguars maintained a share of second place in the North Bay League Oak Division standings, scoring key wins over Montgomery (5-3) and Ukiah (10-0) to push their record to 5-3 and 10-6 overall.
At the start of play this week the Jags were tied for second with Analy, two games back of first-place Rancho Cotate (7-1) with four games left on the schedule.
Windsor will begin the final stretch of league play on April 30 at Analy, followed by a non-league clash with visiting Alameda on May 1 at 5 p.m. Windsor will close out the NBL season on May 2 at 4 p.m. at Maria Carrillo and visit Sonoma Valley on Tuesday, May 6 at 4 p.m.
Despite having just nine available players, the Jaguars logged one of their best outings of the year in an April 23 home tilt with Montgomery. Ace pitcher Kayla Scott fired a complete game gem (7 IP, 6 hits, 3 ERs, 6 Ks) as Windsor hung on for a 5-3 win. Leading hitters were Anis Acevedo (2 for 3, 2B), Kasandra Jaramillo (2 for 3, 2B, 2 runs, RBI), Mele Pearl (1 for 3, 2 RBIs), Nataleigh Johnson (1 for 3) and Kelly Tagnolli (1 for 2, 2B, run).
It was all Jags in Thursday’s home clash with Ukiah, with Windsor scoring early and often en route to a 10-0 shutout in five innings. Scott (3 IP), started the game while Peal tossed the last two in mop-up duty. Moana Bullock paced the offense with a pair of hits.
“We had great defense and kept them from scoring, which was the goal,” Windsor coach Morgan Rasmason said. “It was a great win for the seniors and I believe everyone had at least one hit or got on base in this game.”
