Incumbents Sandra Dobbins and Katy Dillwood have taken an early
lead in the Windsor School Board election with newcomer William
Forrest leading the pack for the third seat.
When absentee ballot results were counted shortly after 8 p.m.,
Sandra Dobbins had 20 percent of the vote, Katy Dillwood had 20
percent, William Forrest had 17 percent, Clay Mitchell had 15
percent, Marta Dee had 14 percent and Shari Kirichenko-Egan had 12
percent.
With 10 of 21 precincts reporting, the totals were relatively
unchanged. With only a few hundred votes separating third and
fourth place, it looks to be a tight race to fill the spot vacated
by outgoing board member Heather Cullen.
