Marina Pace, director of marketing for The 222 arts venue in town, passed away in late October from pancreatic cancer. She was in her late 60s. Marina was “a world traveler, talented artist, animal lover, and remarkable soul,” her obituary says. She and her former husband Les Ferroggiaro — who died in a 1999 car accident “that left Marina severely injured” — were known for “their fabulous gatherings, abundant community, and zest for life,” according to her obituary. And although the car accident “altered her life course entirely,” the obit says, “she persevered with immense strength, courage, and perspective to live life to the fullest.” (Legacy.com)
