Friends of Redwood Auto Body owner Dennis Parrish say he passed away recently in his early 60s. Dennis has reportedly been running his “full service frame, body and paint shop” on Kennedy Lane for more than four decades. “We lost a local giant,” says friend Daniel Stevens, adding that Dennis was “generous, hilarious and always honest and fair.” Another friend, Stefanie Randolph, wrote on Facebook: “Dad to Kristin & Derek, grandpa of five, owner of Redwood Auto Body, & friend to MANY, Dennis supported Hounds baseball, football, Healdsburg Bulldogs, and countless projects, organizations, and people.” Dozens of neighbors are sharing memories about Dennis in the comments. “He’s a guy you can always count on, the first to offer help or support,” one writes. Another says: “He was part of the fabric of our community that made it feel like home. He will be sorely missed.” (Facebook Groups)
