Healdsburg retiree Charlotte Schultz, who went by Shally, has passed away at age 81. After working for decades as a public-school teacher in SoCal, she and her husband Wally moved to Healdsburg in 2006, according to her obituary. Shally was a big volunteer, reading to kids at local elementary schools and working with Meals on Wheels. More from her obit: “She was also involved with the Garden Club of Healdsburg. Shally was a green thumb and loved her plants, especially violets, orchids and gardenias. She was also quick to help with any of Wally’s Healdsburg Rotary Club’s fundraisers or community projects.” (Source: Legacy.com)
