Second District Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) will host a town hall on defending the environment and protecting forward progress on addressing climate change on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Petaluma Santa Rosa Junior College campus. The discussion will focus on the new political situation in Washington D.C. and how constituents can get involved and take action in the days ahead.
Following the brief panel, attendees will be able to ask questions of Huffman and other community partners, including Michael Wall, co-director of Litigation for the National Resources Defense Council; Drew Caputo, vice president of Litigation for Land, Wildlife & Oceans, Earthjustice; and Ann Hancock, executive director for the Center for Climate Protection.
