Information being sought
According to a statement released by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department, detectives are investigating an armed home invasion robbery that was reported on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at about 1:30 p.m. in the 15000 block of Norton Road in Healdsburg.
The 29-year-old victim reported that he was taking a shower and, as he exited the shower, was confronted by an African-American man and two Hispanic men in the front room of his home, the statement says. The African-American suspect pointed a small, silver-colored semi-automatic pistol at him and demanded marijuana and money.
The victim was ordered to his bedroom where the African-American suspect bound his feet and hands together using zip ties. The Hispanic suspects ransacked the victim’s bedroom and home. After the suspects left his home, the victim freed himself and found that the suspects had taken a laptop and a cell phone along with a small amount of processed marijuana and some marijuana plants that had been growing in his backyard.
Detectives responded and are investigating the incident. The African-American suspect was described as in his 20s, approximately 6’ tall with long, dreadlocked hair. The two Hispanic suspects were described to be in their mid-20s and about 5’7” tall.
