Winnie (Sexton) Cline died peacefully on October 18, 2016 at her home in Olympia, Washington. Winne was born on February 14, 1935 in St. Louis, Oklahoma where she lived until she was 10 years old with her parents and six brothers and sisters. As a young girl, her family moved to Olympia and then to Cloverdale where Winne graduated from Cloverdale High School as class Valedictorian in 1951. Winnie was awarded the title of Citrus Fair Queen and was crowned by the future Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Earl Warren.
