Enough
EDITOR: The citizens of Healdsburg, like those across the entire country, were appalled and saddened by the carnage in Las Vegas. Fifty-eight Americans were murdered and another almost 500 were wounded. Shortly after the attack Isis claimed responsibility for the event but that was quickly proven to be untrue.
That left us with the realization that the perpetrator was home grown and that his arsenal of weapons, some modified to be fully automatic, could have been amassed legally by any of us. We all need to be aware that at this point in time, in this country, we have less to fear from the power of Isis than we do from the power of the National Rifle Association. Now is the time to talk about it, enough is truly enough.
