Last Thursday around 8:30am, Healdsburg police officers say they came across “multiple encampments that were littered with waste and debris” along the railroad tracks between Grove Street and Healdsburg Avenue. The camps were located just south of the community center, and “well within 150 feet of Foss Creek,” which isn’t allowed, according to cops.

More from the police announcement: “HPD officers took enforcement action on multiple encampments, with three citations, prohibiting waste and debris near a waterway. Officers have continued to visit these encampments and have provided advice, resources, and multiple warnings. We are working with SMART in efforts to prevent further encampments.”
