Healdsburg Turkey Trot, Nov. 22
Join the Healdsburg Running Company for their annual 5K turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning. The race starts at 8 a.m. and takes runners, walkers and turkey costume wearers on a route through downtown. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Drew Esquivel Scholarship, which helps support local student athletes.
Downtown Healdsburg holiday party, Nov. 23
What better way to kick off the holiday season than with the annual downtown Healdsburg holiday party Nov. 23. This fun event will feature musicians, Christmas carolers, carriage rides and shopping with local artisans. Kids can also visit with Santa in the Plaza from 5 to 7 p.m.

Healdsburg holiday arts and crafts market, Nov. 24
This special holiday edition of the farmers’ market will feature a plethora of holiday gift ideas. Local artists will present ceramics, jewelry, wood work and art for sale. This will be a great chance to see local artists and get going on holiday shopping. The last day for the event is Saturday, Nov. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the downtown Healdsburg plaza. Geyserville tree lighting and tractor parade, Nov. 24
This unique, Geyserville parade will feature lit-up tractors, harvesters and firetrucks and a tree lighting ceremony. There will also be Christmas carolers and a visit from Santa.
The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. and the parade will start around 6:30 p.m. There will also be warm winter fare to purchase, such as cornbread and chili. The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. in downtown Geyserville.
Writing club for kids, Nov. 26
The Healdsburg Regional Library hosts a free writing club for kids ages 9 and up. The group is led by local published author, Jennifer Lynn Alvarez, author of the “Guardian Herd” series. The event takes place Monday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library on Piper Street.
Preschool story time, Nov. 27
Stop by the Healdsburg Regional Library Nov. 27 at 10:30 a.m. for a preschool story time for young children. Kids will get to talk, sing and read and get ready to learn how to read at this free event. Registration is not required for this event.
Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meeting, Nov. 28
The Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meets Wednesday Nov. 28 for their regular meeting. The meeting starts at 4 p.m. at the city hall council chambers. The event is free and open to all. The city council chambers are located at 401 Grove St.
Roundabout community opening ceremony, Nov. 29
Join the city in a celebration of the completion of the new roundabout on Nov. 29. The event runs from 5 to 5:30 p.m. at the space near the Parish Cafe at W. Mill and Healdsburg Avenue. Community leaders will speak, and there will music and a ribbon cutting.
