Free film screening on human trafficking, Jan. 31
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. A film is being presented free to the community and will be followed by a panel discussion with Human Trafficking Task Force members. The showing is appropriate for mature youth and adults. The event takes place Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Raven Film Center, 415 Center St., Healdsburg.
Live music on the patio, Feb. 1
Come by Cellars of Sonoma on Friday, Feb. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. for some free live music. All are welcome to attend and enjoy music on the patio. The event takes place at 20 Matheson St.
American Legion annual crab feed, Feb. 2
The American Legion of Healdsburg will host its annual crab feed on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. Dinner will include an all-you-can-eat cracked crab meal with salad, garlic bread, beer, wine and coffee. Proceeds will go toward the Healdsburg Fourth of July fireworks. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased by calling 707-431-2328 or 707-322-9245. Ongoing, “Room Service,” Jan. 25 to Feb. 10
This period play set in 1937 follows the adventures of a “nimble-witted” play producer living on credits. The play is showing at The Raven. 8 p.m. shows include Jan. 25 (Opening Night Bubbly), Jan. 26, Jan. 31 (Value Night), Feb. 1, Feb. 2, Feb. 8 and Feb. 9. The 2 p.m. shows include (Post-Show Discussions) Jan. 27, Feb. 2 and Feb. 10. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (65 and older) and $10 for students with a valid ID. Smash Brothers Ultimate game night, Feb. 4
The Healdsburg Regional Library is hosting a Smash Brothers Ultimate game night on Monday, Feb. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event features casual play and a tournament. The top finalist will take home a prize. The event is free and open to adults and teens. Snacks and equipment will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring an extra TV and game system if possible. The event takes place at the library at 139 Piper St.
Regular city council meeting, Feb. 4
The Healdsburg City Council will meet for its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. at city hall at 401 Grove St. All are welcome to attend the open session portion of the meeting and or speak during public comment.
Current events discussion group at the senior center, Feb. 6
The Healdsburg Senior Center hosts a current events discussion group every Wednesday. This next meeting takes place Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is free. Meet at the center at 133 Matheson St.
Family yoga at the library, Feb. 7
There will be a family yoga session at the Healdsburg Library on Feb. 7 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. The 45-minute session will feature cooperative breathing, games, relaxation exercises and gentle poses.
