Harold A. (Hal) Hostetler

Hal Hostetler died at Apple Valley Convalescent Hospital in
Sebastopol on July 12. He was husband of 62 years to Beulah B.
Hostetler of Santa Rosa, father of the late Linda Carole Scott,
grandfather of Tammara Wisterman of Sebastopol and Celeste D. Scott
of Santa Rosa, great grandfather of Ryan Alton Jagard in the U.S.
Navy, father-in-law of Robert D. Scott of Santa Rosa. Born in
Upland, CA. He was raised in Chowchilla, was a graduate of
Chowchilla High School in 1929 and attended business college in
Fresno. Hal owned a grocery and produce store in Selma, and later
became an electrician and was a proud member of the I.B.E.W. #302
for 60 years. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and the El
Portal Lodge #502 F.&A.M. Donations in his memory may be made
to the Masonic Home for Children in Covina.
