Editor: The Healdsburg Wild Steelhead Festival would like to
thank everyone involved in bringing over 50 groups together under
the big tents for a great day of fishy fun and information. The
goal of the Festival is to raise awareness of the efforts being
made to insure the health of the waterways and fisheries, and to
restore Foss Creek. We do this by focusing on the local wild
steelhead, which are a threatened species.
The day held something for everyone: a trout pond for kids, a
casting pond with expert lessons, food and wine to try, fun music,
information booths and fish art to create and appreciate. Check out
the website for fabulous photos of the day at www.healdsburgsteelheadfest.org
and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
