INDEPENDENCE — Sebastopol Independent Charter School held its
eighth grade graduation ceremony at the Sebastopol Veterans
Memorial Hall on Friday, June 10. In all, 24 students graduated
from SICS. Student speeches were given by Tevon Strand-Brown, Ryan
Clifton, Jone Bacinskaits and Jourdyn Bossio. SICS board president
Zac Douch handed out the diplomas and the students performed “Lean
on Me” by Bill Whithers. Afterward, a reception was hosted by the
