READY TO MOVE ON — A group of Forestville Union School District

This year marked the 111th Commencement for Forestville Union
School District.
On the evening of Friday, May 27, 60 students graduated from the
8th grade. Vocal performances by students, Jessica Ramalia, Jaimie
Beach and Madison Terry added a little extra pizzaz to an already
festive evening. Speakers, Remy Wilson, Stacey Furlong and Briallyn
Mansell gave heart felt personal accounts of their educational and
social experiences at Forestville School.
Awards were announced for a number of unique student
accomplishments and special acknowledgment was given to graduate,
Erin Eck who received the highest grade point average, (a 4.33) for
all four quarters of her 8th grade year.
After graduation students took a “trip” to the other side of the
campus where they were greeted by an elaborate display of food and
chaperones dressed in French fashion. “A Starry Night In Paris,”
was the theme of the graduation dance decor that included a
makeshift cafe, fancy chandeliers, a visual play of the Eiffel
tower, street signs in French, and a formal garden with an elegant
fountain and park bench.
