George F. St. Clair, died at his home in Alexander Valley Friday
June 6, 2008 at the age of 100. He was the son of the late Frank
and Elvina St. Clair. He was born in Alexander Valley  and lived
there for more than 100 years. He was the loving husband of the
late Maxine Patterson for more than 67 years. George was the father
of Betty (Al) Greco and the late Richard (Linda Hidalgo) St. Clair.
He was the adored grandfather of:  Debra (Dave) Machen, Bryan
(Tammy) Greco, Kathleen St. Clair, Karen (Mike) Jones, Rob
(Christina) St. Clair Kelly (Nick) Denicke and 10 great
grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was the brother
of the late, Walter St. Clair and Augusta Hixson.
George was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Odd
Fellows for more than 80 years and a member of the Farm Bureau.  He
enjoyed ranching, hunting trips and fishing trips, baseball,
westerns,  “trailering” with friends and bus trips to Reno.
Visitation will be Monday June 16, 2008 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Fred
Young F.H., Cloverdale. A Celebration of George’s Life will be
Friday June 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Alexander Valley Community
Hall.  Memorial contributions may be made to Beeson Cemetery 5376
