Analy beats Tam, Ukiah, and JFK in impressive start
The Analy Flying Tigers are showing all the earmarks of a winning team in the early stages of the 2015/16 campaign, logging road victories in their first three games.
The Tigers kicked off the season on Nov. 28 in a 71-37 beat-down at Tamalpais, and followed up last week in convincing wins over Ukiah (66-52) and John F. Kennedy of Fremont (70-47).
“It was a great start for us, we’ve played decent in the first quarters but our second and third quarters have been our most productive,” Tigers coach Brett Page said. “This is a very unselfish team and everyone is getting touches and scoring.  I’m most happy with our defense at this point,” he added.
At press time the Tigers (3-0) were prepping for another road game at Rancho Cotate on Dec. 7 before coming home for their first date in the friendly confines on Dec. 8 against Novato.  The Tigers will play in the Brett Callan Memorial Tournament at Casa Grande on Dec. 17-19.
