Eva M. Luebke was born in Kenosha, WI on October 18, 1931 and
married Ervin J. Luebke on July 5, 1952. They moved to Salinas and
were blessed with five children: Lois Jane, Debra Lee, Kimberlee
Ann, William Ervin and JoAnn Marie; four grandchildren, one
great-grandchild and five step-grand-children. Eva is survived by
her siblings Vera Cooper, Alfred DeSimone, and William DeSimone.
Eva moved to Windsor in October 1999. She enjoyed bridge, bingo,
knitting and was an active member of our Lady of Guadalupe Church
in Windsor. She truly enjoyed her ministries within the parish. Eva
passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 peacefully into the arms of our
Lord after a short illness. Friends and family were invited to a
viewing on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 1 – 4 p.m. at
Windsor-Healdsburg Mortuary, 9660 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor. A
Catholic Liturgy Service was held on Monday, June 25, 2007 and
began with a decade rosary at 11 a.m. at our Lady of Guadalupe
Church, 8400 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor. A reception followed in
the Mary Agatha Furth Center. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to Special Olympics or Becoming Independent.
