PIROLLE, Eugene, 86, entered into Heaven on May 8, 2019, joining his brother Felix and his parents Esther Henrietta and Felix Antonin Pirolle. Eugene was born in San Francisco on April 3, 1933 and was a lifelong Sonoma County resident.
From his youth Eugene helped his parents on the family farms in Wilfred and Windsor. He also worked for 10 years at Rodney Strong Vineyards. Eugene was gentle and kind to everyone. He loved his family and friends and he prayed for them. Being the first-born and eldest brother, Eugene lived an exemplary life for his siblings to follow. He loved traveling to France to visit relatives.
Eugene was the brother of Helen Valle and Pierre Pirolle, uncle of Deborah Burke and David Pirolle, great uncle of Tesa-Marie Garcia and Kevin Burke, great-great uncle of Elsie and Lenore Garcia, and maternal cousin of Betty Behm and Howard Burtness. Eugene is also survived by numerous paternal relatives in Auvergne, France.
Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Thursday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh District Cemetery in Windsor. Manuel Chavez will lead the service, while Marleny Chavez and Belky Valle will sing “In the Sweet Bye and Bye.”
