Elizabeth Morrill Neal passed away at home in Santa Rosa on
December18, 2002, following a year long battle with cancer. Born in
Glendale, California on June 27, 1926, she is survived by her
loving husband of 53 years, William Barry Neal. The two met while
attending Occidental College in Los Angeles. She was a beloved
mother to David Neal of Livermore, Timothy Neal of Pleasanton, and
Janet Clark of Santa Rosa. As proud as she was of her children, she
found true delight in her four grandchildren, Shannon and Alison
Clark of Santa Rosa and Scott and Katie Neal of Pleasanton. She was
a loving sister-in-law to Dr. & Mrs. Edward Neal of Healdsburg
and a loving aunt to Michael Neal, DDS, Thomas Neal, MD, Erin
Neal-Tangney, and Ted Neal of Healdsburg. Mrs. Neal was a Physical
Therapist at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles as well as El
Camino Hospital in Mountain View prior to moving to Healdsburg in
1982. She continued working part time in Healdsburg, and was a
volunteer with the Healdsburg Museum. Known as an incredibly kind
and giving person, she always put the interests of others before
her own. Her legacy is her family, who were blessed by the
wonderful life she shared and the happiness she brought to everyone
she encountered. She will be missed very much. No services were
held at her request. Donations may be made in her name to Memorial
Hospice, 821 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
