Affordable sports mini-camps for young athletes by Greg Clementi
El Molino High School is offering affordable sports mini-camps for young athletes in incoming grades 4-9 each Friday through July 29.
For just a $5 donation fee per session, kids will receive instruction from high school coaches and athletes in a wide variety of sports, including; track and field, baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, football, wrestling, and fitness training.
Kids may attend any session and do not have to attend them all.
“These camps are one-day clinics aimed at introducing athletes to a variety of sports, improving skills, getting exercise and having fun,” El Molino Athletic Director Mike Roan announced.
Athletes will need to bring appropriate footwear, water, and a lunch if needed.  There will be a supervised area where kids can eat lunch if they plan on staying for both sessions.  All sessions are coed.
The $5 fee can be paid in cash or with a check made out to El Molino High School. There is no need to sign up prior to the camp.  Simply download the paperwork at www.elmolino.org and bring it with you to camp.  For questions, please contact Mike Roan at
