Happy days may be here again for local girls basketball fans, as Analy and El Molino continue to impress on the high school circuit.

Both teams logged big wins in recent North Bay League action, with the Tigers recording a 66-41 rout over Windsor before falling to Montgomery, 55-44.
At press time, Analy (1-2, 14-5) was preparing to resume league play in a Jan. 15 visit to Santa Rosa, followed by a Jan. 17 trip to Cardinal Newman. Game times for the JV and varsity are 5 and 7:30 p.m.
The Tigers used a dominant second half in their Jan. 9 clash at Windsor, breaking open a tight ballgame with a 21-9 run in the decisive third quarter en route to a 25-point margin of victory. Pacing the scoring attack were Sierra Atkins (18), Lucca Lowenberg (15), Minh-Tam Le (8), Aleah Armstrong (6), Bailey Alberigi (6) and Isabel Housman (5 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists).
Analy traveled to Montgomery two nights later, racing to a 26-18 lead at the half. The Viking reeled off a 21-5 third-quarter explosion and never looked back on their way to a 55-44 win. Housman led the way with a team-high 12 points.
Lions maul Hounds 
The El Molino Lady Lions (3-1, 11-8) continued their best season in years, bouncing back from a 43-39 NBL road loss to Piner with a resounding 49-37 win at Healdsburg.  Emerging freshman Ellie Roan and senior veteran Grace Anderson shared top scoring honors against Piner with 12 points each.
The Lions logged their most impressive win of the season to date on Jan. 11 at Healdsburg, stunning the Greyhounds in 49-37 victory. Roan continued to light it up in the paint with a team-high 24 points, while freshman Talia Husary chipped in 11 points for El Molino.          
The Lions will be back in action on Jan. 15 (after press time) at Rancho Cotate, followed by a Jan. 17 visit to Elsie Allen. Both varsity games start at 7:30 p.m.
