El Mo's Josh Wright scored a win for the Lions in the league-opening dual meet against Healdsburg last week.   

It was a challenging opening week in Sonoma County League dual meet action for the El Molino Lions, taking on defending champion Healdsburg on the Greyhound’s home mat on Jan. 6.
The Lions managed two varsity wins on the night, including one forfeit as Healdsburg cruised to a 50-9 win.
The highlight of the meet for the Lions came in the 170-pound weight class, when senior veteran Josh Wright won a hard-fought 6-3 decision over Bryant Herrguth. El Mo’s other win came when 195-pound Leo Garza won by forfeit.
