Spring break and torrential rains did nothing to slow the progress of Analy and El Molino baseball teams, as both rolled to victories in recent abbreviated action.
The Tigers dispatched home and away opponents Cloverdale (5-3) and San Marin (22-10) in a pair of non-league match-ups, while the Lions scored a 17-5 drubbing at Middletown.
At press time Analy (6-5, 1-2) was prepping for a key April 10 visit to Petaluma, followed by a Saturday, April 14 trip to Santa Rosa (10 a.m.). The Tigers will host El Molino next Tuesday, April 17 in the first of two season meetings (4 p.m.).
The Tigers played host to Cloverdale in a seesaw battle on April 3, staking starting pitcher Brenden Medina to an early 2-0 lead. The Eagles took a 3-2 lead after three, but Analy rallied with a solo run in the fourth and two more in the sixth to escape with a 5-3 victory.
Medina (2.2 IP, 3 hits, 3 ERs, 4 BBs, 4 Ks) received a no-decision, while Thomas O’Brien (3.1 IP, 2 hits, 0 ERs, 3 BBs, 2 Ks) earned the win. Evan Alvarez (1 IP, hit, 0 runs, K) closed it out for the save. Top hitters were Luke Tollini (2 for 2, run), Noah Rabin (1 for 3, 2B), Tony Siri (1 for 4, run, 2 RBIs), Alex Leopard (1 for 4, run), Dalton Goodrum (1 for 1, run), Jeff Pearson (1 for 2, RBI), Ethan Silverstrich (1 for 1) and Austin Alvarez (1 for 3, RBI).   
The Tigers laced up their hitting shoes in an April 5 visit to San Marin, pounding out 14 hits for 22 runs in a 22-10 rout. Tyler Stasiowski (4 IP, 2 hits, 3 ERs, 3 Ks) notched the win, while Austin Alvarez (2 IP, 6 hits, 3 ERs, K) and Luke Bertling (1 IP, 0 hits, 0 runs, 2 Ks) also saw mound duty for Analy. Leading hitters were Goodrum (3 for 4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs), Rabin (2 for 4 2 3Bs, 3 runs, 7 RBIs), Pearson (2 for 4, 2B, 2 runs, 5 RBIs), William St. Martin (2 for 3, 5 runs), Leopard (2 for 4, 2 runs, 3 RBIs) and Austin Alvarez (2 for 6, 2B, 2 runs, 3 RBIs).
Lions maul Mustangs
The league-leading Lions (9-3, 3-0), showed no signs of slowing down after their best start in over a decade, jumping all over host Middletown in an April 5 non-league clash. 
El Mo busted open a 3-3 tie with a seven-run second and never looked back en route to a 17-4 rout in five innings.
Pitcher Sam Wilson-Mietz (4 IP, 2 hits, 0 ERs, 9 Ks) claimed the win, while Wesley Hamner (1 IP, 3 hits, 3 ERs, K) earned a no-decision. Leading the El Mo hit squad were Aaron Daniels (2 for 3, 2B, 3 runs, 2 RBIs), Andy Junge (2 for 3, run, RBI), Shane Spelman (2 for 3, run, 2B, 3 RBIs), Curt Lewis (2 for 3, 2B, 2 runs, RBI), Jordan Hamner (2 for 3, 2 B, 3 runs, RBI), Cole Van Stone (2 for run, RBI), Jack Belli (1 for 1, run), Wyatt Stringfellow (1 for 3, run, RBI), Weston Lewis (1 for 1, run, RBI), Wilson-Mietz (1 for 3, 2 runs, 2 RBIs).
