Edward “Eddie” Eidsen went to be with his Lord on Nov. 10, 2007
at the age of 78. He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend
Esther of 53 years. Ed was the loving father of Pamela (Don)
Richmond, of Sacramento, Steve Eidsen of Santa Rosa, Bradley (Ruth)
Eidsen of Rib Lake, WI, Jeffrey (Cindy) Eidsen of Windsor, and
Perri (Tom) Dumbacher of Colorado Springs, CO. Ed was also the
grandfather of 13 whom he dearly loved. Jonathan, Sveta Richmond;
Matthew, Joshua, Shaun Eidsen; Elizabeth, Mary, Mark Eidsen; Lexi,
Haley, Trevor Eidsen, and Joshua, Karrisa Dumbacher. The dear
brother of Kathleen Enns (deceased) and Sharon (Jerry) McBee, also
many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ed graduated from High
School in Corning CA, he attended Pacific Bible Institute in
Fresno, graduated from Fresno State University with a B.A. degree
and got his Masters degree from San Francisco State College. Ed
served in the U.S. Army from Feb. 1953 to Feb. 1955. Ed taught
school for 13 years and sold Real Estate for 27 years, both in
sales and as a Broker. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family,
his church family, music, playing the trumpet, and traveling
especially since retirement traveling in his motorhome. He has been
a member of Hessel Church since 1965, serving in various capacities
there. The family wants to thank the Doctors that have done a
wonderful job these last years. A viewing was held Friday, November
16 from 12 – 4 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17 from 8 – 9:45 a.m. at
Pleasant Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, 1700 Pleasant Hill
Rd., Sebastopol. Family and friends were invited to attend the
Memorial Service Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. at Hessel Church,
5060 Hessel Ave., Sebastopol. Graveside Services will be
private.
