Earl Benjamin Whitmore

Earl Benjamin Whitmore passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in
Santa Rosa. Loving husband of Beverly Whitmore of Santa Rosa.
Beloved father of Earl B. (Jennifer) Whitmore of Brownington, VT,
Gary R. (Belin) Tanner of San Luis Obisbo, CA, Laura (Jim) Bone of
Windsor, CA, Linda (Bob) Henwood of Meadow Vista, CA, Arlene
Whitmore of Ross, CA and Joanie (Ernie) Sawyer of Oakdale CA.
Brother of Bob Whitmore of Redwood City, grandfather of 11 and
great grandfather of two. Earl is also survived by numerous nieces
and nephews. Earl was a Sheriff at the San Mateo County Sheriff for
24 years and was an Officer with the Redwood City Police Dept for
nine years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Earl was a
member of many organizations, including the San Mateo Mounted
Patrol, Shriners and the Free Masons. A Memorial Service will be
held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the
Shriner’s Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817.
