Cloverdale will close out league season on Friday at Middletown
The Eagles suffered their most disappointing loss of the fall season on Friday in their home finale against St. Helena, falling to the Saints 49-29.
The setback knocked Cloverdale out of the NCL 1 title picture, extending their record to 4-2 in league and 6-3 on the season.
The Eagles will close out the league campaign this Friday, Oct. 26 (7:30 p.m.) when they travel to take on Middletown. The Mustangs (4-2, 6-3) are coming off an 18-14 loss to Fort Bragg on Friday but figure to give Cloverdale all it can handle this week.
Also looming on the horizon for the Eagles is a likely seed in the upcoming North Coast Section Division 5 playoffs, which start in two weeks.
