Charlie Palmer’s internationally acclaimed restaurant in the
Hotel Healdsburg, has announced a wine program that allows guests
to enjoy rare and unique vintages at greatly reduced prices. Drew
Munro, Dry Creek Kitchen’s new sommelier, has selected wines that
are uncommon and hard to find. Each Wednesday, a distinct and
exceptional wine will be available by the glass or bottle.
&#8220Each wine was specifically chosen because it is locally
produced and the wine is virtually impossible to find at affordable
prices in most restaurants. This is an excellent chance for guests
to sample these wines with their meal or simply to enjoy it by the
glass,” said Munro. All wines will be sold at 10 percent over cost
and are available by the glass or bottle at dinner. March,
chardonnay month, will conclude with March 28 – Ramey, Ritchie,
Sonoma Coast, 2003. In April, Cabernets of Sonoma County will
include Hafner, Alexander Valley, 1997; Rafanelli, Terrace Select,
Dry Creek Valley, 2000; Clos du Bois, Briarcrest, Alexander Valley,
1998; and Martin Family Winery, Rockpile, Alexander Valley,
2003.
