Dorothy Davis

Dorothy Davis, 94, died on Dec. 20 at home in Forestville. She
and her husband, the late Louis Davis, whom she married in ’56,
moved to West County in 1965. She was an active member of the
United Methodist Women’s group and a sewing circle of friends. She
is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace W. and May MacFarland
and her sister Mae Cuneo. She is survived by her children, Clare
Vernon of Hawaii and Beverly Cooper of Nevada City, her brother Bob
MacFarland, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and six
great-great-grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be held at 1
p.m. on Jan. 11 at the United Methodist Church in Forestville.
Donations in her memory can be sent to the church, Forestville
School or VNA Sutter Hospice.
