Dolores J. Uber went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2007.
She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Fred Uber; loving
mother of Mark (Becky), Karen (Manuel) and Janet; adored
grandmother of Fred, Christina, Robert, Marc and Joshua; great
grandmother of Joseph , Briana, Cody, Jonah, Kadon and Lena;
preceded in death by her grandson David. Dolores was born in
Bloomfield and lived her entire life in Sonoma County. She drove
for Laidlaw Transportation for more than 47 years, making her the
one of the longest employee’s, and that was no small feat. She will
be greatly missed by all. Friends are invited to attend a funeral
mass on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of
Guadalupe, 8400 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor. Visitation will be
held on Friday, July 13, 2007 from 9-8 p.m. with a vigil service at
6:30 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave., Santa
Rosa. If desired, donations in her memory may be made to the Hannah
Boys Center, P.O. Box 100, Sonoma, CA 95476-9989, or to Our Lady of
Guadalupe.
