Derek K. Buchignani

Derek K. Buchignani died in Cloverdale July 8, 2008 at the age
of 40. He was the beloved father of Amanda Buchignani, and dear son
of Stan (Debbie Delfino) Buchignani and Jean Craig. Derek was the
dear brother of Bryan (Carol) Buchignani, Debbie (Bob) Ottinger,
and Barbara (Jim) Gassaway. He is also survived by his step-brother
Richard Masherini and many other special friends. Derek spent is
life in Sonoma County. He graduated from Healdsburg High School in
1985 and worked as a general contractor in Cloverdale. He was an
active member of the Cloverdale Lion’s Club and loved to cook for
the Lion’s community events and activities. Derek was very proud of
his Italian heritage and was very giving to his community. He
enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and above all he loved his
daughter, family, friends and spending time with all. “He will be
missed by all.” Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass
Saturday July 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Peter’s Catholic
Church, Cloverdale. Inurnment will be private.
