David Joseph Nagle, 80, of Sebastopol, died on Friday, July 16.
Irish to the core, with an eloquent tongue, a disarming charm and
explosive passion. A life long member of the Catholic Church, Labor
and the Democratic Party. His mourning shall reflect these
qualities. The afternoon viewing and evening rosary will be held on
Friday July 23, 2004, at his son David Michael Nagle’s home at 476
Pleasant Hill Ave. North in Sebastopol. The viewing will at 4 p.m.
with a rosary starting at 6:30 p.m. All friends of David are
welcome. A wake will follow to remember his life, in the streets of
Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, the Bronx, and the first graduating
Class of St. Ignatius Rice High School, class of 1942. The
hedgerows of Normandy where he parachuted on D-Day, the German and
Russian POW camps from where he escaped and his life and passion as
worker, leader, husband and father to his family, friends and
neighbors in West Sonoma County since 1963. Bring your well-crafted
stories and songs of his actions and words. We will erupt with our
own passion as we release our controls with wine, bourbon and
beer.

spirituality of the Catholic Church, presided by his son Father
