David A. Goins – Vietnam veteran, owned Vintage Restorations

David A. Goins, 59, passed away at his Mill Creek residence on
January 5, 2004. He is survived by his sons David A. Goins II of
Healdsburg and Victor J. Goins of Windsor. He was a creative man
who loved antiques. Born in Whittier, David was drafted and fought
in the Vietnam War. He later worked as a stage actor in Grover
City, where he met his wife. David moved to Healdsburg in 1977 to
raise his children, working at Standard Structures in Windsor. He
later opened a furniture refinishing shop in Healdsburg called
Vintage Restorations. After closing Vintage Restorations a few
years ago, David worked as a tool repairman at Acme Tool Repair in
Windsor. Memorial Services were held Monday, January 12, 2004 in
Cloverdale. Donations to the David A. Goins Memorial Fund Account
#0165027905 at Exchange Bank, 1031 Vine Street, Healdsburg would be
appreciated.
