Cynthia Lou Mancebo passed away Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 2007
at her home in Healdsburg due to complications from her long
struggle with fibromyalga. Cyndi was born on July 8, 1957 and was
raised in the Dry Creek Valley in Healdsburg. Cyndi is preceded in
heaven by her father R.K. “Smitty” Smith and loving brother and
best friend Ronald K. Smith. Cyndi is survived by her mother Lynn
Smith, her brother Michael Smith, daughter Shannon Martin, and
beloved granddaughter Chevelle Borja. Her niece and nephews Amber,
Jesse and MacGarret Osman and their parents Gary and Kelly Osman.
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, family and friends including Chris and Kyle
Coughtry, and Tracy, Tyler, Tanner and Trevor Cook.
Cyndi worked for several years in the medical field after
graduating from Empire Business College. Cyndi’s greatest joy in
life came with the birth of her granddaughter Chevelle, whom the
sun rose and set by. Cyndi was a loving, doting grandmother who had
a smile for everyone and a gentle, kind spirit. She will be deeply
missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in
Celebration of Cyndi’s Life on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at 1 p.m.,
at Healdsburg Community Church, 1100 University Avenue, Healdsburg.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart
Association.
