The Healdsburg City Council will discuss Measure V funds at a special meeting, to be held on Monday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. at Healdsburg City Hall.
Measure V, approved by Healdsburg voters in 2012, is a half-cent sales tax that generates more than $1 million a year. The city surveys residents each year to get feedback on spending priorities and that survey took place in January and early February.
The original priorities for Measure V expenditures were public safety, street repairs, economic development and maintenance of city facilities. What percentage of Measure V funds are allocated to these and other needs will be decided Monday.
