Cortlin Moore passed away June 7, 2008 at his home in Healdsburg
after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 56. Cort was born in
Oakland, CA grew up in Orinda, CA and graduated from Campolindo
High School. He was an Eagle Scout in Orinda Troop 237, and enjoyed
hunting and camping. After working for Dillingham Construction for
many years he acquired his contractor’s license and founded his own
company, Stag Mountain Construction. He eventually moved to Sonoma
County to be closer to relatives. He was known as a loyal friend
with a big heart and a generous nature. He is survived by his
daughter, Morgania Moore; father, Erwin; mother, Patricia Brown;
Aunt Moyne; Cousins, and some very special friends. He also leaves
behind his ever faithful four legged “co-pilot” Clyde. He was
preceded in death by his brother Sean Moore. At his request, no
service will be held. A gathering to celebrate his life will be
held at a later date. Any memorial donations may be made to Sutter
Hospice of Santa Rosa. The family would like to express their
appreciation to all who were involved with his care.
