Poetry workshop with Russ Messing, Nov. 12
Learn the basics of poetry and of haiku forms at this free library workshop. Participants will get to take home their own poem or leave it for others to enjoy. The workshop will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 12. The Healdsburg Library is located at 139 Piper St.
Planning commission meeting, Nov. 13
The Healdsburg Planning Commission will have their regular meeting Tuesday. All are welcome to attend this free and open meeting. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Healdsburg City Council chambers, 401 Grove St.
Fall documentary series, “Won’t you be my neighbor?”, Nov. 14
As part of their fall documentary series the Healdsburg Library is screening the documentary, “Won’t you be my neighbor?” The documentary covers the life and work of children’s entertainer Mister Rogers. The screening goes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Healdsburg Library, 139 Piper St.
Conscious Light Film, Nov. 15
The Raven Film Center is screening the documentary, “Conscious Light” on Nov. 15 from 7:15 to 9 p.m. The movie tells the story of Avatar Adi Da and his work to create a legacy of spiritual realization for all.
Tickets are $10.50 and can be purchased online. The Raven Film Center is located at 415 Center St.
