Community Conversations: hosted by the City of Healdsburg
Community Conversations is a series of casual neighborhood meetings in which city directors and staff can speak directly with residents about city services, programs, events, and community-related topics. Representatives from all major departments, including fire and police, public works, utilities, community services, and planning will be at the meeting on Thursday, August 2, at 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Summer’s Market, 557 Powell Ave., Healdsburg. Intertwined, a fiber arts exhibit at Healdsburg Center for the Arts
Intertwined [fiber from one extreme to the other] features 65 pieces ranging from the humble woven basket to abstract sculpture, and from traditional tapestry to conceptual works with a social statement. The exhibit runs until September 3 at Healdsburg Center for the Arts, 130 Plaza St., Healdsburg.
Healdsburg Library August Book Sale
The Friends of the Healdsburg Library August Book Sale will be held from Wednesday, August 1, to Saturday, August 4. Quality books for $2; children’s books for 50 cents; and $1 DVDs and music CDs. All proceeds support the library.
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
“What do you say we just skip the first, second and third dates and go right to the sex?” So goes the North Bay premiere of a brand new, updated version of the classic comic musical revue. Four actors play multiple roles in this celebration of dating, mating, and the twists, turns and tangles of modern relationships. Vistas and Vines exhibit opening reception
Upstairs Art Gallery is featuring Sonoma County artist Laura Roney as she returns from the ashes with new paintings after losing all in the firestorm last October. “Vistas and Vines” features new works of sweeping views and Sonoma County vineyards. An artist reception is planned for Saturday, August 4, 2 to 5 p.m.
Healdsburg Rotary Golf Tournament
The eighth annual Healdsburg Rotary Golf Tournament will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, at Healdsburg Golf Club at Tayman Park. This fun men’s and women’s scramble event will have a shotgun start with prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. The entrance fee of $100 per player covers 18 holes of golf and a cart, refreshments and lunch, a hosted bar, a silent auction and a raffle that follows the golf. Summer Sundays in the Plaza: The Coffis Brothers
Come to the downtown plaza on Sunday, August 5 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for Summer Sundays in the Plaza, featuring music from The Coffis Brothers and The Mountain Men, a rootsy rock n’ roll band from the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Fete Blanc at Barndiva in Healdsburg
Join Barndiva on Sunday, August 5 from 12 to 3 p.m. for the annual Fete Blanc party, celebrating interesting whites and bubbles from over 20 local wineries accompanied by Barndiva hors d’oeuvres. Tickets: $50 at barndiva.com.

National Night Out at Geyserville Fire
