Healdsburg Education Foundation (HEF) has announced that their
Adopt-a Class program has started again. Parents and community
members that want to support certain teachers/classes/programs can
pick up forms at any school office, from teachers, or through the
HEF office, which is located in the District Business Office

Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate in Dry Creek Valley is hosting a
fundraiser for the Bird Rescue Center on Saturday, September 5th
starting at 9 a.m. Cost is only $10 at the door, kids free, and
includes bird activities, Winemaker Mike Brunson’s pizza, wine
tasting and lemonade for the kids. Local bird experts will lead
bird walks, and the highlight of the event begins at 12:30 p.m.
when volunteers from the Bird Rescue Center in Santa Rosa will
display several of their raptors used for education.
