Rising Star Outreach is a non-profit organization that works in
leprosy colonies just outside Chennai, India to help them become
thriving, self-sufficient communities as well as educating the
colony children in a safe, healthy environment.
The Healdsburg Animal Shelter is looking for “Pet of the Week”
sponsors for next year. You can do it one time, monthly, or even
for the year. Each week is $100. These ads are critical in getting
the pictures of our homeless animals in the public eye. The Shelter
is also accepting donations to their Cat and Dog Holiday Toy and
Treat Fund. They are looking for donations of holiday toys, treats,
beds, blankets, anything warm and fuzzy for our animals. Send your
donations to the Healdsburg Animal Shelter, 570 Westside Road,
