July Fourth celebrations in the West County
Sebastopol Fireworks:
Friday, July 3, 5:30 p.m. Fireworks at Analy High School, 6950
Analy Ave., begin at dark. There wil be food, music, activities,
and fireworks at dusk. Admission to the festival is $3 to $7, or
watch fireworks from around the high school for free. For more
information, call 823-1511.
Third and Fourth of July Water Carnival and
Fireworks:

Friday, July 3. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Big Rocky Games will
take place on Monte Rio Beach., with all types of supervised games
for kids of all ages. The Water Carnival/Parade begins at
approximately 7 p.m. with floats on the river, and an image of the
American flag projected on a curtain of water from the Monte Rio
bridge. After the water curtain, the fireworks will begin.
On Saturday, July Fourth, the Big Rocky Games will continue from
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For information call 865-9956.
Fireworks over Bodega Bay:
Friday, July 3, at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks at Westside Park, 2400
Westshore Rd. Free admission. For information call 875-3866 or go
to www.bodegabay.com.
Guerneville Independence Day Celebration:
Saturday, July 4, 10 a.m. to past sundown. The celebration
begins with a fair on the Plaza from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Russian
River Rotary BBQ with chicken and ribs and a beer and wine bar will
take place at Oddfellows Hall from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be
music from swing/Dixieland band Heard These Cats and swing/jump
band Laguna Moon Band, also face painting and games for kids,
ending with sundown fireworks over the river. Free admission for

Saturday, July 4, 11 a.m., patriotic music at bandstand/gazebo
in the Sebastopol Plaza. Free admission.
