Team united —The Eagle’s varsity (above) and JV (below) teams celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Night last week with a pair of wins over visiting Willits.

Breast Cancer Awareness Night a big success
The Cloverdale varsity and JV teams defeated Willits on Breast Cancer awareness night at the CHS gymnasium last week.
The Cloverdale Varsity team is currently 5-5 in league and 10-16 overall. The JV team is 6-4 in league play.  The night was a huge success with proceeds from the door, silent auction baskets and cupcake sales going to breast cancer research.
The community came out to support the cause including, parents, family members, teachers, administrators, students and alumni. It was a great night for the student/athletes and their hard work helped make the night possible.
The varsity team includes: Leah Kenney, Monica Lemley, Hayley Schultz, Hanna Bireschi, Jordyn Turner, Alejandra Perez, Shalynn Mancini, Rachel Sceales, Alissa Giovanatto, Angel Bernardi, Teanne Edens and Celeste Gastineau.
The JV team consists of: Stephanie Figueroa, Kailee Bunting, Jaedyn Jenkins, Jessica Bartoldy, Camryn Figueroa, Shaye Stewart, McKenna Gren, Xochilth Saldana, Jazmine Zuniga, Alma Beltron, Josie Marrufo and Nicole Rauch.
