Clifford Alger of Paso Robles died Feb. 24, 2007 in Templeton,
CA. He was 59. Alger was born on July 26, 1947 in San Francisco. He
built many homes throughout the Sonoma County area since 1968 and
was considered an expert craftsman and cabinetmaker. Alger also had
a passion for NASCAR racing – especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale
Earnhardt Jr. He is survived by his wife Marilou Bowie and by
children Donald Clifford Alger, Leslee and husband Paul Smiley II
and Terry Alger; and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by
brothers and sisters Craig Alger, Corinne Alger, Denise Gallagher,
Sheri Slaydon, Yvonne Weiler and &#8220adopted sister” C.C.; as
well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service was held on
March 3, 2007 at the Vinehill Druid’s Hall, on Laguna Road. Private
burial was held at the McPeak Cemetery, Forestville.
