Windsor Creek has been having a ton of exciting events and we have many more to look forward to. In November, we had our annual food drive and donated over 400 cans of food to the Windsor Food Alliance.
We also had our annual STEM Night, where over 75 families attended. The students were engaged with coding, building, creating and teaching their families how to complete all of the activities.
In December we will be having our monthly award assembly on Friday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m. for second graders and 1:15 p.m. for third graders. Our annual Winter Concert will be on Monday, Dec. 17 at 9:15 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
We have continued with our Science Garden Program and have been harvesting fresh tomatoes for our lunch program. Finally, our “Act of Kindness” for December is that all students and staff will be writing letters to Butte families that have been affected by the terrible fires. Our staff is also having a gift card drive to help out these families.
