Catherine A. Sarzotti- Member of St. John’s Church, loved to cook

Catherine A. Sarzotti, 91, entered into rest on Friday, January
14, 2005 in Santa Rosa. She passed away on her 91st birthday and
her 74th wedding anniversary. Catherine is the beloved wife of 74
years of James R. Sarzotti; the mother of Gloria Opperman of
Healdsburg and James (Sharon) Sarzotti of Belmont; the grandmother
of Kim Opperman, David Opperman III, Brian Opperman, Marc Opperman,
Kara Eddinger, Kathryn Castellani, Teresa Sarzotti, Elizabeth Shiel
and Ann Marie Rankine; the great-grandmother of Blair, Lauren,
Paige, David IV, Ashley, Brian Jr., Andrew, Stephen, Jordan,
Mallori, Whitney, Jenna, Maxwell, Logann, Christy, Aaryn, Alexis,
Rachel, Jake, Joshua and the late Austin Haworth. Catherine was a
Healdsburg native and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and
the Italian Catholic Federation. An avid homemaker, Catherine loved
to cook and take care of her family, especially for her
grandchildren. In the 1950s she worked in the cafeteria at
Healdsburg High School. Services were held on Tuesday, January 18,
2005 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Healdsburg. Burial was held
later that day at Oak Mound Cemetery in Healdsburg. Contributions
may be made in Catherine’s memory to the Memorial Fund of Austin
Haworth, 2107 Fitch Street, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
