Carolyn A. Gustafson – Dietician, enjoyed flying

Carolyn A. Gustafson, 71, passed away in Santa Rosa on August
12, 2003. Beloved wife of Alvyn Gustafson of Santa Rosa and loving
mother of Eric Gustafson of Healdsburg. She is also survived by her
cousins, Ed, Marilee, Marge and Alvin, all of Oregon and her best
friend Doris Constenius of Sea Ranch. A native of Portland, Oregon.
A graduate of Columbia University, she was a dietician, public
health nutritionist and college instructor for 32 years; a past
president of the California Dietetic Association and a former
member of the Board of American Dietetic Association. She also
enjoyed flying as a private pilot. Services were held on Friday,
August 15, 2003 at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses in Santa Rosa
with Pastor Bob Willse of Thanksgiving Lutheran Church officiating.
Private inurnment at Oak Mound Cemetery. If desired, donations in
