Carl B. Say, 68, died on Nov. 19 in his Occidental home. Born in
Beggers, AR, he moved to Sonoma County in 1961. He worked as an
operating engineer for the Local Union #3 for 25 years and for the
past 11 years for North Bay Construction. His three sons and
granddaughter followed his footsteps into engineering. He enjoyed
hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Norma
Say, children Carlene and her husband, Sten Vasquez, Mike and his
wife, Cindy Say, Brian and his wife, Bobby Sue Say and David and
his wife, Amy Say, his sister Maudie Cooke, grandchildren Allen,
Christopher, Christiane, Liz, Brian, Jason, Ryan, Troy, Dani and
Niki, great grandchildren Chance, Keelea and Austin and numerous
nieces and nephews. Donations in his memory can be made to
Heartland Hospice in Santa Rosa.
