The Windsor Cal Ripken Baseball League will commemorate its 11th season with Opening Day ceremonies on Saturday, April 21 at Keiser Park with a league-wide parade starting at 10 a.m.

Festivities include games, Jubilee Jumps activities, including the rock climbing wall and dunk tank, hula hoop contest, and barbecue.
The festivities will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with team photos, with the parade of teams at 10 a.m. The Opening Day ceremony will feature the raising of the colors, the singing of the National Anthem, and the introduction of guests and board members.
A home run derby for players aged 9-12 will take place at approximately 1:30 p.m. All interested players must sign up by April 7 on the league website at windsorbaseball.org.
This season the league will consist of 48 teams with a total roster of about 500 kids. Divisions will include Instructional (Rookie and Machine Pitch), Minors (A, AA and AAA) and Majors. Each division provides the necessary skills for players to find success for advancement to the next level.
There will be limited parking near the large baseball field, and overflow parking will also available at the high school while entering through the pedestrian gate.
